|The Secret to Happiness|
Formally, The Sean caught the distance bug in the late 90's after leaving the structured team sports scene in school. Initially to lose weight he began running 5 miles a day with the goal of one day running Boston.
He went on to run cross country and track at the collegiate level at Keene St. College and later at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado studying Exercise Physiology. After 14 years The Sean did run the Boston Marathon in 2011 following back to back BQ's in 2009-10. Prior to that several 50ks were run succesfully and he fell in love with ultras on trails! And to think when it all started at the age of 18 he was asked, "Are you going to run a marathon." To which he replied... "maybe when I get old!"
The Sean's running goals for the future are to learn more about The Sean, improve his health and run farther, better and enjoy it even a little more as the years go on. And- to run Hardrock 100.
